Clearly Obsessed

I have been seeing transparent bags all over the internet recently especially with our fellow friends Celine and Chanel releasing their interpretation of this trend. The thought of spending more than $600 on a plastic bag makes me cringe, let alone $4,000 (WTF Chanel!?).
After realizing I would never spend that kind of money on plastic, I decided to search the internet for something equally as cute.

I came across this little gem on Amazon for only $30! I probably won't be wearing her every single day, but for an occasional day out, I'm all in.
So here she is. My current obsession and all the little things inside you can clearly see.

A Mini Obsession

Currently: Loving Mini Handbags
The Harsh Reality: You can't carry much
Even harsher: She can't hold my phone (iPhone 8 Plus)

But, so what? This Gucci Dionysus has been on my wish list for what seems like an eternity and I finally took the plunge for my 22nd birthday last month!
So here she is...

Why Can't We Just Brunch It Out?

It's not really breakfast and it's not yet lunch. This invention is a meal in between breakfast and lunch, perfectly serving those who like to sleep in after a long night out. It's filled with Bloody Marys and bubbly Mimosas. You can order either pancakes or a sandwich of some sort (or even both!).

If you guessed brunch, you are absolutely correct.

I partnered up with Paperless Post to bring you three outfits for three different types of brunch occasions. Their unique invitation styles inspired me to come up with a couple of outfits to complete the perfect brunch! If you're ever in need of some adorable invitations, make sure to check them out!

Outfit No. 1
A Casual Brunch

Casual brunches are a once a week ritual for me. The only invites I ever send for these types of occasions usually happen with a simple text. But PaperlessPost offer such cute invites; I had to include one!
For this outfit, I kept it really casual and simple. A basic t-shirt with a little extra detail can make any causal outfit look more put together. Pair this with denim shorts and heeled boots and you're ready to brunch!

Outfit No. 2
A Dressy Brunch

I've never been to a wedding-related brunch, but if you're lucky enough to be included in the festivities, a flowy maxi dress is the way to go! I added more of an edgy look to my dress by adding a leather jacket. But you can always wear the dress as is and throw on some cute sandals for a more girly vibe.

Outfit No. 3
A Family Brunch

A family day brunch outfit should have 3 key components:
First, It should be comfortable and practical.
Second, it should definitely be appropriate!
And lastly, you shouldn't take it so seriously. Be fun with it and be you!

For this outfit, I chose to wear an outfit that never fails me - a simple t-shirt dress, black mules and a black hat. This is a very typical outfit for me so I know it will automatically make me feel comfortable and confident!

For A Weekend in Vegas...

With my 21st birthday coming up this year, I thought it was appropriate to start looking for some Vegas-ready outfits as inspiration... And then I created my own.
Although I've never been to Vegas, the dress code should be pretty standard, right? Tight, revealing, over-the-top, dress to impress, and sparkly is all you really need to know. Anything goes when you're in Vegas!

For this post, I teamed up with Vegas.com and created some outfits for their search of the #UltimateVegasOutfit. I used one of the resorts on their website for inspiration. So if you happen to stay at the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, you'll find me rocking some of these outfits this year!

The Esplanade At Encore
I am my most comfortable in an all black outfit. I just feel like it gives off a very European, dont-mess-with-me vibe while still being super easy to throw on.

And you can't go to Vegas without doing a little bit of shopping! So for this outfit, I decided to keep it casual and comfy. All black, but as my mother would say, "With an edge!"

Andrea's
For this dinner outfit, I opted for an all black outfit (big surprise!). This LBD is super flattering and has cutouts in all the right places! I paired the dress with a moto-style jacket to make it a little more dinner appropriate, but you could easily remove it once it's time to party.

XS
I don't usually go clubbing, but for a night out, I like to throw in some color to make a statement especially when I'll be taking tons of pictures! So, instead of opting for an all black outfit (again!) throw on a fun colored dress and some cute heels and you'll be ready to dance the night away!

Holiday Party Looks ft. The Black Tux

With the holidays and New Year's right around the corner, I tend to overwhelm myself with the endless wardrobe possibilites for a certain party. I overthink an outfit. I procrastinate. I breakdown. And sometimes, I don't feel like going out simply because my outfit sucks.

Luckily, I've learned to draw my inspiration early and plan outfits out for parties that haven't even been planned yet.

The Black Tux has released an amazing Holiday Style Guide that gave me a boost of inspiration for my own party looks.

Casual parties are my favorite. Whether it's a family dinner or a get together at a friend's house, you can't go wrong with a simple dress and knee high boots. Top it off with a statement coat or bag and you're ready to go!

On Her - Dress: American Apparel | Boots: Steve Madden | Coat: Forever21 | Bag: Chanel | Necklace and Bracelet: G & JEM

On Him - Blazer: Zara | Shirt: H&M | Pants: Nordstroms | Shoes: Nordstroms | Bracelet: G & JEM

Sometimes, there are parties where a cozy sweater just isn't going to cut it. For a more professional occasion, I opt for a LBD -- simple and super easy to style. I make sure to have at least 2 little black dresses in my wardrobe, just in case!

On Her - Dress: Zara | Heels: Christian Louboutin | Clutch: Banana Republic | Pearl Necklace: Vintage

On Him - Blazer & Pants: H&M | Shirt: Zara | Tie & Clip: Zara | Shoes: Aldo | Watch: Nixon

Formal occasions are my weak spot. For some reason, I feel the need to buy a new dress every time! If you plan on purchasing a new gown for your event, make sure to give yourself enough time to shop for the perfect dress. Do not procrastinate!

For this formal occasion, I chose to style my model in a silky dress with a delicate pattern. I love the silky fabric and you can choose to accessorize however you wish! She chose to pair her dress with sparkly heels and a clutch in a solid color.

On Her - Dress: Irene's Story | Shoes: Jimmy Choo | Clutch: Louis Vuitton | Bangle: Banana Republic | Necklace & Earrings: Chanel

For Him - If you choose to bring a date along, a tux will do for this formal occasion. The Black Tux offers tuxedo rentals for a reasonable price! They also offer a wide selection so that you and your date can match perfectly!

Make sure to check out The Black Tux and their Style Guide for more inspiration this holiday season!
