I don't have much experience with BB creams, but I have tried out a couple recently. The 'Dream Pure BB Cream' from Maybelline really caught my eye at the drugstore because it included salicylic acid, perfect for acne-prone skin. I researched the product before purchasing it and got mixed reviews. Some said they absolutely loved the product and others said it made their acne worse. So I put this product to the test for 2 weeks…
Pros
1. It has a medium sheer tint to it so it's perfect for everyday wear.
2. It feels really light on the skin and feels like my skin can still breathe through the makeup.
3. It claims to hydrate the skin (which it did for me) but since I have oily skin, it was a little too shiny for me.
Cons
After the first week of continuous wear, I noticed new breakouts. I analyzed everything I had been putting on my skin or any new foods I was eating and I realized the problem was the BB cream.
This product is amazing, but because it created new breakouts instead of clearing acne (what it claims to do), I will not be using this as an everyday base. I can go a couple of days of wearing this without any new breakouts, since the breakouts appeared after a week of continuous wear. This BB cream really hydrates the skin and gives it a beautiful glow. If you have acne-prone skin, I would not recommend this product since it created new breakouts on my skin. I do not have acne-prone skin, but I do get the occasional breakout.
I used this when I was on holiday in August and loved it! Sorry to hear you had trouble with breakouts though!

It's a really great bb cream! I think I'll only be using it occasionally!
